Alberta RCMP Community Response Team seize drugs and charge Spruce Grove male

Your Alberta RCMP’s Community Response Team conclude a drug trafficking investigation. On Aug. 28, 2025, after a short drug trafficking investigation, the Alberta Community Response Team executed a search warrant on a rural residence on Highway 16 and Range Road 262 near Spruce Grove.

As a result of the investigation, police located and seized:

• 21 grams of Fentanyl;
• 4 grams of Methamphetamine;
• 50 Tablets of Oxycodone;
• 466 mL of GHB;
• Scales, and ;
• $721 in Canadian currency.

As result of the investigation, RCMP have arrested and have charges pending against a 54-year-old male resident of Spruce Grove.

• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl;
• Trafficking Fentanyl; and,
• Possession of Proceeds of Crime under $5000.

A 54-year-male old male was released on an undertaking and is to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in Stoney Plain, Alta., at 8:30 a.m., on Oct. 15, 2025.
