North Vancouver RCMP are seeking further dash cam and CCTV footage to advance their investigation of a hit and run collision.

On February 5, 2026, at approximately 8:07 p.m., North Vancouver RCMP received multiple reports of a hit and run collision at the intersection of West 3rd Street and Bewicke Avenue in North Vancouver. It’s alleged that a pedestrian in a wheelchair was crossing West 3rd Street in the cross walk when a vehicle making a left turn struck the pedestrian and fled. The pedestrian sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. They are expected to recover.

The suspect vehicle is described as a grey sedan.

“Police are releasing dash cam video of the incident in hopes that further witnesses with critical information will come forward,” said Corporal Mansoor Sahak, Media Relations Officer for the North Vancouver RCMP. “We are also asking the driver to do the right thing and come forward, it will help investigators gain a clearer understanding of what occurred.”

Anyone with dash cam footage, CCTV, or who witnessed the collision on West 3rd street and Bewicke Avenue on February 5 at around 8:07 p.m. is asked to call the North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311 and quote file 26-2488.
