Break & Enter – Suspect Identified & Property Recovered

Sunshine Coast RCMP File # 2025-7591

On September 19, 2025, Sunshine Coast RCMP responded to a report of a Break and Enter at a golf course in Sechelt, BC. The suspect forced entry into the building and took food, alcohol, golf apparel and golf equipment.

Thanks to the quick actions of the local community, who shared a photo of the suspect on local social media, police were able to confirm the individual’s identity. A search warrant was then executed at the suspect's residence, where officers recovered the majority of the stolen property, valued at approximately $10,000.

The Sunshine Coast RCMP would like to thank the community for stepping up and working with police to bring this matter to a swift conclusion, helping reduce the impact on a local business.
