Powerview RCMP recover stolen property after search warrant

On August 22, 2025, at 12:24 pm, Powerview RCMP received a report of a stolen generator from the transfer station on Bouvier Trail in the RM of Alexander.

Further investigation led officers to apply for a search warrant for a property on Highway 11 in Fort Alexander to recover the stolen generator.

On September 10, 2025, Powerview RCMP officers along with the RCMP Emergency Response Team and the Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems attended the property where they recovered the generator stolen from the transfer station.

They also recovered an off-road vehicle that was reported stolen on July 14, 2025, from Black River First Nation.

Clayton Boubard, 41, from Black River First Nation, was arrested on the property and remanded in custody.

He has been charged with Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 x2 and Break and enter. He was also charged with intimate partner violence related offences from September 6, 2025: Assault with a weapon, Assault and Uttering threats.

Powerview RCMP continue to investigate.
