Clarenville RCMP is investigating the early morning theft of a pickup truck in Port Blandford, and is asking for the public’s help identifying two men and a woman, who RCMP believe have information valuable to the auto theft investigation.
Shortly before 8:30 a.m. on Monday September 15, 2025, Clarenville RCMP responded to a 9-1-1 emergency call. The caller reported that their black 2008 Dodge Ram pickup was just stolen from their home’s private driveway in Port Blandford.
The truck was seen travelling eastbound on the Trans-Canada Highway at a high rate of speed. Early Thursday morning the vehicle was recovered by the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) in St. John’s, after police responded to multiple hit and run incidents involving the stolen vehicle. A photo of the stolen vehicle is attached.
Clarenville RCMP are looking for the public’s help to identify three unknown individuals captured on video surveillance. Police believe those individuals have important information regarding the theft. Photos of each of the individuals are attached.
Anyone who can identify any of the three individuals, or anyone with dash camera footage of the stolen Dodge Ram in the Metro region or along the Trans-Canada between Clarenville and St. John’s is asked to contact Clarenville RCMP at 709-466-3211. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), visit www.nlcrimestoppers.com or use the P3Tips app. #SayItHere
