Clarenville RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance as officers investigate the early morning theft of an outboard boat motor from a residential property in Sunnyside.

On the morning of Sunday, September 7, 2025, Clarenville RCMP responded to a report of a theft in the area of Path End in Sunnyside. An unknown suspect or suspects stole a Yamaha fifteen horsepower (15 HP), four-stroke, long shaft outboard boat motor from a vessel.

Investigators believe that the theft occurred sometime between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

Police are asking anyone with information about this theft, including the current location of the stolen motor, or anyone with video surveillance in the area to contact Clarenville RCMP at 709-466-3211.
