On July 24, 2025, the Clyde River RCMP responded to a firearms complaint, that resulted in an police involved shooting.
The Vancouver Police Department is assuming the lead of this investigation. They are requesting information from community members that may have witnessed the incident or have taken video of the incident to contact the investigators by either attending the Clyde River RCMP detachment in person, or by calling the detachment at 867-924-0123.
As the Vancouver Police Department had taken over the investigation, any further media inquiries should be directed to them.
