Iqaluit RCMP are looking to arrest Donald Jackson as he is Unlawfully at Large.
Jackson, 35, was convicted of 8 Criminal Code offences in late July of this year and was sentenced into custody at the Aaqqigiarvik Correctional Healing Facility (ACHF) in Iqaluit.
His convictions include:
- Uttering Threats
- Breach of Recognizance x 3
- Unlawfully in a Dwelling House
- Forcible Entry
- Theft Under $5000
- Fail to comply with Release Order
After serving a portion of his sentence at ACHF, he was permitted to serve the remainder of his sentence at the Uttaqivik Community Residential Centre (CRC) in Iqaluit.
Jackson failed to return to the CRC on the evening of August 26th, 2025. RCMP have followed many leads but have been unsuccessful in locating him. Iqaluit RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in notifying them at 1-867-979-1111 if he is located, so that he can be returned to ACHF immediately.
Donald Jackson is described as:
- Indigenous male
- 5'4 (162 cm) tall
- 130 lbs (60 kg)
- Brown hair
- Brown eyes
- Neck tattoo 'Babe'
