On October 23, 2025, the Arviat RCMP Detachment requested the public’s assistance in finding a man wanted on an arrest warrant. Since then, Aaron Kuksuk, age 22, has been located and his warrant executed. Kuksuk is in police custody and is a waiting a bail hearing.
The original release containing his image has been removed as a result. The Arviat RCMP Detachment thanks the public and the media for its assistance.
