Tulita RCMP searching for missing 16-year-old

RCMP in Tulita is actively searching for a 16-year-old youth.

At approximately 1:00 p.m., on Friday, August 15th, Tulita RCMP received a call regarding a missing youth, River Clement.

The 16-year-old male was last seen on Cranberry Crescent, in Tulita, at approximately 5:00 a.m.

Community members are assisting Tulita RCMP in searching for the youth on the land and water. Support from the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) in Trenton has been requested for aerial searches. The Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary is assisting with searches in surrounding areas.

River Clement is described as slim, with brown eyes and medium-length black hair.

Tulita RCMP is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of River Clement to please contact the local detachment at 867-588-1111.
