Fort McPherson RCMP respond to shooting

On September 7th at approximately 3:49 a.m. Fort McPherson RCMP received a report of shots being fired on Charles Koe Road.
Officers attended and located a 14-year-old victim with a gunshot wound. The youth was transported to the health center and later flown from the community for treatment. They are reported to be in stable condition.

Investigation into this matter remains ongoing with support from RCMP Forensic Identification Services, the Major Crimes Unit and the Territorial Crime Reduction Unit. No arrests have been made.
