Background

Late on September 3, 2025, Saskatchewan RCMP officers released the 16 individuals arrested in Richmound as their investigation continues.

Five of the individuals were released subject to an undertaking, a legal document that sets out conditions one must follow while their charges are before the courts. Please note that police officers can release individuals on undertakings before a court information is signed. That is when charges are formalized and made public.

Early on September 4, 2025, investigation determined two of the individuals breached a condition that they not contact one another.

As a result, an adult male was arrested the morning of September 4, and an adult female was arrested the afternoon of September 4. Both arrests occurred in close proximity of the privately-owned decommissioned school that was subject to the search warrant on September 3.

As a result of continued investigation, 61-year-old Ricky Manz from Richmound is charged with one count, fail to comply with undertaking condition, Section 145(4)(a), Criminal Code.

We can now confirm that he is also charged with one count, fail to comply with release order condition, Section 145(4)(a), Criminal Code and one count, intimidation of a justice system participant, Section 423.1(b), Criminal Code.

50-year-old Romana Didulo from Richmound is charged with one count, fail to comply with undertaking condition, Section 145(4)(a), Criminal Code. We can now confirm that she is also charged with one count, intimidation of a justice system participant, Section 423.1(b), Criminal Code.

The intimidation of a justice system participant and fail to comply with an undertaking charges relate to attempts to contact individuals involved in a July 2025 investigation in Richmound.

Manz was remanded into custody until his scheduled appearance in Swift Current Provincial Court on September 5, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. Didulo was not remanded and will appear in Swift Current Provincial Court on September 5, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.

The informations for the charges associated with the undertakings of the other three are not yet sworn so we can’t share further details at this time.

The investigation continues.
