Leader RCMP investigating suspicious fire that destroyed business

Leader RCMP are asking the public to report information about a suspicious fire that destroyed a business in Leader, SK.

On October 26, 2025, at approximately 2:40 a.m., Leader RCMP received a report of a structure fire at a business on 1 Avenue in Leader. Officers and local firefighters responded. The business was destroyed by the fire.

Leader RCMP have engaged fire investigators with the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency to assist with determining the cause and the origin of the fire. Based on evidence police have gathered, it’s believed the fire is suspicious in nature.

Officers will continue to investigate the fire and ask that members of the public report information about any suspicious people or vehicles they observed in and around Leader during the early morning hours of October 26.
