Airport Security contacted the RCMP to report that the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) while screening passenger baggage, had discovered a prohibited weapon, a “shuriken” commonly known as a throwing star, and a significant quantity of bundled cash.  Officers from Whitehorse Detachment and the Crime Reduction Unit attended the airport to conduct an investigation.
