RCMP Cram the Cruiser event a success

Port Alberni RCMP want to thank the community, local business and volunteers that made the Cram the Cruiser Fundraiser for the Salvation Army a huge success. The event took place on December 13, 2025, at Tyler’s No Frills on Johnston Road.  Kal Tire kicked off the event with a $1,500 donation.

The following total donations were collected:

  • 805 lbs of food
  • 275 lbs of toys and clothing

  • $2,271.00 in cash, cards and cheques

    “These are tough financial times for individuals and families in the valley. We really want to thank the community for their overwhelming generosity” – said Cst. Barry Lee
