100 Mile House RCMP responded to 86 calls for service between February 24, 2026 and March 3, 2026. This is a summary of the highlights.

File # 2026-647

On February 27, 2026, RCMP received a report of a theft from vehicle on the 4000-block of Meesquano Trail. Between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. the previous day, a front bumper and grill were taken off a vehicle parked at this location.

File # 2026-667

On March 1, 2026, RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on the 300-block of Highway 97. While speaking with the driver observations of alcohol consumption were made. A breath test was conducted using an approved screening device that resulted in a warn. The driver was issued an immediate roadside prohibition from driving for 3 days and the vehicle was impounded for 3 days.

On March 2, 2026, RCMP stropped a vehicle on the Highway 97 near First Street after observing it not stopping at a stop sign. The driver was spoken with and a vape pen was observed in the vehicle in which the driver admitted to smoking cannabis while driving. The driver was issued a 24-hour suspension from driving and the vehicle was towed. A small amount of suspected methamphetamine was also seized.

On March 2, 2026, RCMP received a report of mischief and theft from a vehicle that occurred sometime the night previous on Wrangler Way. A vehicle that was parked along Wrangler Way had its windows smashed and the vehicle was entered where documents were taken.
