Police officer careers
By enforcing the law and investigating crime, police officers play an important role in ensuring the safety and security of those in the community they serve. A uniform with your name on it is waiting for you.
Civilian employee careers
From administrative support to scientists in the laboratories to telecommunications officers answering 911 calls, civilian employees play a critical role in delivering services to our communities.
Community Constables
Through engaging their home communities in active crime prevention/reduction activities, Community Constables play a key role building positive relationships between their community and the RCMP.
Indigenous Pre-Cadet Training Program
This program gives Indigenous youth in Canada a first-hand look at a career in policing with the RCMP and prepares candidates for the police officer application process.
RCMP Reserve Program
This program offers retired or former police officers a chance to continue to use their skills and knowledge to serve their community and help RCMP officers and services across the country.
Auxiliary Program
This program is an important part of the organization, enhancing community policing and crime prevention initiatives. Auxiliaries give their time to help keep our communities safe.
Volunteer Programs
Helping our detachments in the successful delivery of important community policing services. Our volunteers develop friendships, gain experience and skills, and challenge themselves.
Security screening portal
The portal allows individuals to submit their security information to the RCMP as part of the security screening process.
Diverse and Inclusive Pre-Cadet Experience
This initiative is designed to give racialized, underrepresented, and persons from all equity seeking groups, ages 19 or older, a first-hand look at a career in policing while also preparing them to be competitive in the application process.
