The vehicle is fully electric and sustained significant damage from the water.

 Road rage incident

Officers responded to a road rage incident in which a man followed another driver to a local business, where a confrontation escalated into a physical altercation. Police attended and spoke with both parties. After discussion, both men acknowledged their behaviour was inappropriate, understood how the incident escalated, and were satisfied with police intervention. No charges were pursued, and the parties agreed to move on from the situation peacefully.

Theft from vehicle

Police received a report of a theft from a vehicle on Vimy Road. Unknown persons broke into the vehicle and stole several items from inside. The investigation is ongoing.

Theft from vehicle

An unlocked vehicle parked on Highway 9 in Agassiz was entered by an unknown suspect, and a computer was stolen. Police remind the public to lock vehicles and remove valuables.

Motor vehicle collision

Officers responded to a single‑vehicle collision on the Harrison East Forest Service Road after a driver lost control of a truck, causing it to roll onto its side. Paramedics and the Fire Department also attended. Both occupants were able to exit the vehicle and did not sustain serious injuries. Alcohol was not a factor. Poor tire tread and the use of cruise control on a gravel road are believed to have contributed to the collision.

Vehicle stunting

Reports were received of two cars on Pioneer Avenue doing burnouts and stunting in the cul de sac on the east end of the road. One of the vehicles was located nearby resulting in the vehicle being impounded and the driver being issued a traffic violation ticket.
