Chilliwack RCMP downtown community police office closed

On July 16, 2025 at approximately 0025 hours the Chilliwack RCMP received a report of a structure fire at 45873 Wellington Ave, Chilliwack B.C.  A number of businesses were affected by the fire and remain closed at this time.  The Downtown Chilliwack RCMP Community Police Office (CPO) located at 45877 Wellington Ave, Chilliwack B.C. also sustained damage from the fire and will be closed for the foreseeable future.

Any crime prevention related matters or questions can be directed to the main Chilliwack RCMP line at 604-792-4611.  If you require in person assistance please attend to the front counter of the Chilliwack RCMP at 45924 Airport Road, Chilliwack B.C.

The investigation into the fire is ongoing at this time and Chilliwack RCMP investigators are working with the Chilliwack Fire Department to determine the cause.
