The Comox Valley RCMP is asking for assistance from the public to identify individuals who may have been living at or regularly occupying the former Courtenay Train Station between 1989 and 1991.

Investigators believe a family was residing at the old train station located at 899 Cumberland Rd., in Courtenay between 1989 and 1991. Police are hoping to identify and speak with these individuals, as they may have information that could be valuable to an ongoing investigation.

“We recognize this was many years ago, but people often remember who was part of the community during that time.” Said Cst. Monika Terragni, Media Relations Officer, Comox Valley RCMP. “A family living at the train station would likely have stood out to those who lived or worked nearby. If you remember them, interacted with them, or if you were part of that family, we want to hear from you. What may feel like a small memory to you could be the piece that helps move this investigation forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the Comox Valley RCMP at (250) 338-1321 and refer to file 2025-10301.
