Coquitlam RCMP hosts Halloween fun in BOOchanan Square!

The leaves are turning yellow signaling that autumn has officially arrived and Coquitlam RCMP is inviting the public to join us at “BOOchanan” (Buchanan) Square on October 31, 2025, for a free Halloween party.

RCMP officers will be joined by community partners including Coquitlam Fire, BC Ambulance, BC Transit Police, Port Moody Police, Coquitlam Bylaws, Coquitlam Search and Rescue, and more. There will be music and activities so come by and kick off your Halloween in style!

“We look forward to having the public come out to ‘BOOchanan’ Square on Halloween to check out our decorated tents as well as speciality vehicles and, of course, there will be plenty of candy and swag for all the little ghosts, ghouls, and goblins,” said Media Relations Officer Acting Sergeant George Han.

For 2025, Coquitlam RCMP have also partnered with SHARE Society to collect food and cash donations at the event.

The 2025 Halloween party will be held (rain or shine!) on October 31 from 1:30pm-5:30pm at Buchanan Square between City Hall and the Coquitlam RCMP Main Detachment at 2986 Guildford Way, Coquitlam.
