Coquitlam RCMP is inviting the community to come together on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, for the annual Cram the Cruiser event, in partnership with SHARE Family & Community Services.

Food banks and community food hubs play an important role in supporting people across our community. In the summer months, donations often slow down, even though the need stays just as strong.

Community members are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and other essentials. Every donation, helps make sure individuals and families have access to the support they need.

By working together, we can have a real impact. Come out, give what you can, and help fill a cruiser with the care and generosity that makes our community strong.

“While people often think about donating during the holidays, the need is just as real in the summer months for many in our community,” said Media Relations Officer Corporal John Graham. “Cram the Cruiser is all about neighbours helping neighbours. It’s a chance for us to come together and support individuals and families who could use a hand. Every donation, big or small, truly makes a difference.”

Event Details:

  • Date: Wednesday, June 10, 2026
  • Time: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Locations:
    • Coquitlam: Real Canadian Superstore, 1301 Lougheed Highway
    • Port Coquitlam: Safeway, 2850 Shaughnessy Street

“The Coquitlam RCMP Cram the Cruiser event is an awesome example of how our community takes care of one another. By supporting SHARE’s Food Bank, Coquitlam RCMP and our amazing supporters are making sure that babies have enough formula to grow and thrive, that newcomers have access to fresh fruit and vegetables to cook healthy, familiar meals for their families, and seniors have consistent access to the food they need to optimize their health. Working together we are helping our community thrive – thank you!”
