Property Crime Dashboard - Coquitlam RCMP

The Coquitlam RCMP Property Crime Dashboard is an online interactive tool providing property crime data from the past two years for the cities of Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam.

The dashboard includes an interactive map, date and crime type filters, and a breakdown of property crime instances over time which allows users to navigate through the data, ultimately providing users with a snapshot of criminal activity throughout the Detachment area.

The crime dashboard displays the number of instances for four different property crime types:

• Theft of auto
• Theft from auto
• Break and Enter business
• Break and Enter residence

The recorded information and instance markers are positioned at approximate locations to protect the privacy of the victims.

This information is provided to raise awareness and help educate residents, allowing them to take preventative steps to discourage property crime.
