Two suspects in custody following Halloween arson and gunfire in Fort St John

Two suspects have been arrested in connection to an early morning arson and shooting of a nightclub building in Fort St John.
On October 31st, 2025, at 5:48 AM, Fort St John RCMP responded to investigate a suspicious fire at a nightclub near 100th Avenue and 103rd Street in Fort St John, BC, that had been extinguished by the Fort St John Fire Department.
Fort St John RCMP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) members processed the crime scene and found evidence of both arson and gunfire directed at the building.
No injuries occurred during what is believed to be an isolated incident.
Later that morning, Fort St John RCMP frontline members, Street Enforcement Team (SET) members, and Plainclothes members converged on a residence in Taylor, BC, and arrested two suspects without incident.
The suspects are being held in custody pending the investigation and the residence they were arrested at is being held for a Search Warrant.
