Missing Person to locate: Laureen Fabian

Houston RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing Houston resident.

Laureen Campbell Fabian was last seen on October 28, 2019 when she departed her residence on foot for a hike.

There is nothing to indicate foul play at this time, however police are very concerned for Laureen’s health and well-being. Although it’s not unusual for Laureen to take long walks, friends and family report that it is out of character for her to be out of contact and gone for so long.

"RCMP have engaged local search and rescue crews, as police continue their search for Laureen," states Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey, spokesperson for the BC RCMP.

Description of Laureen:

• Caucasian female;
• 69 years;
• 5 ft 4 in (163 cm);
• 143 lbs (65 kg);
• brown hair;
• brown eyes.
