Charges laid in investigation from October 2025

On October 10, 2025, the Hudson’s Hope RCMP received a report of allegations of sexual exploitation. The suspect named was a teacher from a local school.

After a fulsome investigation, BC Prosecution Services have approved charges in this matter. One person has been charged with sexual exploitation and sexual assault. To protect the victim(s) we will not be releasing the alleged offender’s name.  

The matter is presently before the court and the RCMP will not be commenting any further.
