The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is investigating a couple of vehicle fires which occurred on the North Shore.

In the afternoon of June 15, 2026, police received a report of vehicles on fire in the 2300 block of Fleetwood Avenue.  A car and a motor home sustained damage prior to Kamloops Fire Rescue attending to extinguish the flames.

“Investigators have determined that the fire was set deliberately and are asking the public’s help to identify the suspect,” said Corporal Dana Napier spokesperson for the Kamloops RCMP Detachment.  “Video evidence shows a man on a white bicycle with dark fenders, wearing all black with a large blue bag leaving the area.”

Anyone with information related to this incident or the suspect is asked to call the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers and 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) and reference file 2026-19190.
