On November 6, 2025, at approximately 7:00 a.m. a dog named Justice ran off after a concerning incident in the area of Water Street and Lake Avenue. Justice was being walked by a friend of the owner when a male reportedly came up to the friend and grabbed the dog forcefully. During the altercation, the male dropped the dog, and Justice fled the area in a panic.
The male was apprehended by police a short time later.
Justice is a 5-year-old Yorkie, tan and white in colour and approximately five pounds. He may be frightened, disoriented or injured. He was last seen heading toward Pandosy Street and Park Avenue and efforts to locate Justice are ongoing.
“We are hoping to locate Justice to be able to return him to his owner, following this frightening incident,” says Cpl. Allison Konsmo, Media Relations Officer with the Kelowna RCMP.
If you have seen Justice or have any information where he may be, please contact the Kelowna RCMP non-emergency line at 250-762-3300 and reference file number 2025-67032.
