Spring firepit visit proves to be too noisy
On April 3rd, the Kitimat RCMP received the first noise bylaw call of spring that involved visiting around a firepit. At 11:36 pm, the officers received the report of loud music in the Kildala neighbourhood. The investigation officer attended and were easily able to determine the location of the music. The persons around the firepit immediately turned down the music and there were no further calls to the residence. The Kitimat RCMP would like to remind people to make sure they enjoy the weather as it improves after our long winter, but please be cognisant of your neighbours that love close by and keep the noise to a minimum.
