Langley RCMP investigating fatal motor vehicle collision

On September 5, 2025, at approximately 3:15 p.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of a collision near the intersection of 224 Street and 56 Avenue. The collision involved a motorcycle and a sedan. Despite life-saving efforts, the motorcyclist succumbed to their injuries sustained in the crash.
Incidents such as this have a profound impact on families, first responders, and the community,
said Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. We extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
Road closures were in effect in the immediate area for several hours and were re-opened to regular traffic around 8:00 p.m.
Investigators are seeking witnesses to the collision. Individuals who were in the area at the time, and in particular those with dash camera footage, are asked to contact Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 and reference file number 2025-29352.
