Langley RCMP investigating semi-truck and motorcycle collision on 216 Street

On January 2, 2026, at approximately 4:25 p.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision between a semi-truck and a motorcycle around the 2400 block of 216 Street, Langley.
First responders from the BC Ambulance Service, Township of Langley Fire Department and the Langley RCMP attended and rendered aid to the injured motorcyclist. “The motorcyclist was transported to a local area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries,” said Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP.
The area around 216 Street and 24 Avenue remained closed for several hours as the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) had deployed to the area to assist the Langley RCMP in this investigation.
