Four arrested in Fraser Highway stabbing incident

On April 17, 2026, at approximately 2:06 p.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of a disturbance in the 27200 block of Fraser Highway in Langley.
Officers located two youths suffering from apparent stab wounds. Both were transported to local hospitals in serious but non life‑threatening condition.
At approximately 4:12 p.m., officers from Langley RCMP’s Special Response Team utilized conventional and sophisticated police techniques which allowed them to arrest three male youths and one adult male in connection with this incident. All four males remain in police custody while investigators continue to gather evidence.
“From the moment this incident was reported, officers acted immediately to locate those responsible,” said Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. “This rapid response was the result of coordinated and quick actions of our frontline and specialized units.”
