Serious motor vehicle collision under investigation in Langley

On April 22, 2026, at approximately 8:13 a.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 264 Street and 24 Avenue in Langley.
First responders from the Township of Langley Fire Department, British Columbia Ambulance Service, and Langley RCMP immediately attended the scene.
“One individual was transported to a local area hospital in critical and life‑threatening condition,” said Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. “The Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) has been deployed to assist with the investigation.”
Road closures are in effect in the immediate area and are expected to remain in place for several hours while investigators continue their work. Motorists and other road users are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
