Langley RCMP investigate shots fired

On May 26, 2026, at approximately 11:34 p.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of shots being fired in the 5400 block of Brydon Cres in Langley.

First responders from the Langley RCMP, Langley City Fire Rescue Service, and BC Ambulance Services attended the area and located one individual in medical distress. 

“Despite life saving efforts, the individual succumbed to their injuries at the scene,” said Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. “The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called in.”

Officers will be conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages, and any further information will be provided by Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.
