This past weekend, Maple Ridge RCMP opened its doors to the public to help kick-off National Police Week and celebrate our new name and long-standing commitment to the community.
Over a thousand people showed up to our free Open House on Saturday (May 9) that featured many interactive booths with police vehicles, equipment, and demonstrations on display along with games and prizes.
Attendees had the opportunity to engage with many different officers and learn about police operations, as well as get a sneak peak inside our jail cells and speak to partner agencies.
Thank you to everyone for attending and making this event such a success, and a special mention to all our partners, officers, staff, and volunteers for ensuring the event ran smoothly.
