On Tuesday December 2nd just after 7:00pm the BC Liquor store located at 104-1700 Garcia Street in Merritt, BC an unknown male wearing a red and black baseball hat, black/tan jacket and black jeans stole liquor worth approximately $800.
Merritt RCMP officers quickly attended the area and completed a search of the region surrounding the establishment but no one matching the description was located. Members of the public in the vicinity were canvassed by police but no further information or tips were identified.
Further to the above, the male is described as 5'9" tall, the jacket was a rain coat and the hat was a Cummins hat with a white "C" on the front.
"The Merritt RCMP take calls for service from our business here in town very seriously. Unfortunately all investigational leads to identify the male has not produced results and we are now asking the public to assist us in identifying this male so that he can be arrested and brought before the courts" says Cst. Blake Chursinoff of the Merritt RCMP.
