Update on missing person: Mahadi Redwan

The Nanaimo RCMP wish to update the public in relation to missing person Mahadi Redwan.

On November 12, 2025, Mr. Redwan was located deceased near Highway 19A, between Turner Rd and Mostar Rd in the southbound direction. This matter is considered a criminal investigation.

Investigators believe the circumstances surrounding Mr. Redwan’s death occurred at that location on the evening of November 2, 2025, at around 8:15pm.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance and for anyone who was in the area at that time, or anyone who has dash camera footage when traveling thru that location to please call the Nanaimo RCMP at their non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.

Investigators believe this was an isolated incident and there is no risk to public safety.
