Missing person Ravn Mogens

Nanaimo file # 2026-13499

The Nanaimo RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 83‑year‑old Mogens Ravn, who has not been seen or heard from since Saturday May 2, 2026.

Investigators have learned that Ravn flew to Seattle from his home in Maine. While in Seattle, he rented a vehicle and drove to Nanaimo. Mogens had told his family that while on the Vancouver Island he intended to visit Victoria. Given his age and the lack of contact with his family there is significant concern for his safety and overall, well‑being.

Description of Mogens Ravn:

  • Caucasian man
  • 83 years old
  • Approximately 6 feet tall
  • Approximately 160 pounds
  • Photo provided is recent

A stock photo has been supplied of the vehicle Ravn is believed to be driving, described as:

  • Grey Honda Civic
  • Washington licence plate CSX7770
