BC RCMP welcomes Troop #13 of Experienced Police Officers

On July 3rd, 2025, the BC RCMP swore in 8 experienced police officers from police services nation-wide into the RCMP family. 

 

After the officers took their oath, Deputy Commissioner Dwayne McDonald addressed the troop and welcomed them to the RCMP.

 

Troop #13 officers are assigned to:

Elk Valley Regional Detachment Frontline Policing

Squamish Detachment Frontline Policing

Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team

Ridge Meadows Detachment Frontline Policing

Westshore Detachment Frontline Policing

Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) Joint Illegal Gaming Investigation Team

South East District Emergency Response Team

Integrated Border Enforcement Team

 

We are honoured to have these officers join the RCMP and wish them success in the next chapter of their policing careers.
