Drugs, guns and cash seized following drug trafficking investigation

Police executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence in Quesnel following a drug trafficking investigation.
On May 28, 2026, the Quesnel RCMP Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant at a property on Redstone Rd. Police arrested a 35-year-old man at the scene. As a result, police seized:
- Approximately 400 grams of suspected Fentanyl;
- Approximately 300 suspected unidentified pills believe to be narcotics;
- Contraband cigarettes;
- 12-gauge shotgun;
- Replica handgun;
- Ammunition;
- Approximately $10,000.
The individual was subsequently released and may face criminal charges at a later date as investigators continue to gather evidence.
