Police seek suspect following two thefts from Home Depot

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for two separate thefts from the Home Depot.

On July 15, 2026, North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP received a theft report from Home Depot located at 2980 Drinkwater Rd. A male suspect removed a Frigidaire stainless steel French door style refrigerator from the store without payment.

On July 17, 2026, a suspect attended the Home Depot and stole a Samsung range and Ryobi tools. This suspect was reported to be the same suspect that stole the fridge two days prior.

Investigators are releasing images of the suspect from July 15th and their vehicle.

Suspect Description:

• caucasian male
• approximately 55-70 years old, large build
• wearing a green t-shirt, green pants, black boots and a tan and black baseball hat with writing on the front
• wearing glasses
• driving a 4 door grey SUV possibly a Range Rover style
