North Vancouver RCMP are seeking witnesses and video after a tourist was seriously injured at Lynn Canyon Park.

On October 20, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., North Vancouver RCMP, along with multiple other first responders, responded to an injured tourist who had fallen off a cliffside into the Lynn Canyon Valley.

It’s alleged that a group of tourists was being guided by a tour guide at Lynn Canyon Park, located at 3663 Park Road in North Vancouver, BC, when one of the tourists fell 30 metres into Lynn Creek. The tourist, an American woman in her 50s, sustained serious injuries as a result of the fall.

First responders on scene worked tirelessly to rescue the woman, who was airlifted and then transported by paramedics to a nearby hospital.

“We are appealing to any witnesses who may have seen the incident or captured it on their phone,” said Corporal Mansoor Sahak, Media Relations Officer for the North Vancouver RCMP. “The group was being toured around the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge, and the incident occurred near the north side of the suspension bridge.”

“Police are investigating to gain a better understanding of what happened leading up to the incident,” said Sahak.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident, or who has video footage, is asked to contact police by calling 604-985-1311 and quoting file number 25-22168.
