North Vancouver RCMP are seeking to identify a suspect in a break-and-enter.

On October 12, 2025, North Vancouver RCMP received a report from a homeowner regarding a break-and-enter that had occurred at their residence located in the 200 block of Sandringham Crescent, North Vancouver, earlier in the day. CCTV cameras confirmed that a suspect was seen entering the residence through an unlocked side garage door at 6:10 a.m. that same day and leaving with several items.

“Efforts to identify the suspect through traditional methods have been unsuccessful, and we are now appealing to the public to help identify the suspect caught on CCTV,” said Corporal Mansoor Sahak, Media Relations Officer for the North Vancouver RCMP.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian female, 40–50 years old, approximately 5'6"–5'10" in height. She was seen wearing a light baseball hat, a light-coloured hoodie with reflective writing on the chest, dark pants, dark Converse runners, and carrying a backpack and side bag.

The North Vancouver RCMP would also like to remind homeowners of the following crime-prevention tips:

  • Ensure all doors and windows are locked, including garage and side-entry doors.
  • Keep valuables out of sight and store high-value items in secured areas.
  • Make use of exterior lighting and motion sensors to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Consider installing or maintaining security cameras and alarm systems.
  • Participate in the 9 p.m. Routine, which encourages residents each evening to check that doors are locked, vehicles are secured, and outdoor lights and alarms are activated.

Anyone with information about this incident, or who recognizes the suspect, is asked to call North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311 and quote file 25-21611. If you believe you see this person, call 9-1-1. Anyone who wishes to provide information but remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
