Safety talk
This Months safety talk is about Distracted Driving and Seatbelts.
BC Highway Patrol along with the Sea to Sky RCMP (Pemberton) will be conducting a distracted driving and seat belt campaign for the month of March.
The Sea to Sky RCMP (Pemberton) members will be conducting seatbelt check points and patrols for distracted drivers.
Anything that takes your attention off the road while driving is considered Distracted driving. This compromises road safety for all road users and pedestrians. Warmer weather brings more cyclists and pedestrians using the roads and crosswalks.
Check out ICBC’s distracted driving website for more information.
