RCMP received reports of this man filming in an intimidating manner.

The Penticton RCMP is advising the public of an individual who has been observed videotaping businesses and individuals without consent in the Kelowna and Penticton area.

This individual claimed to be recording for a podcast and Youtube channel to educate the public on the laws surrounding recording in public places, nonetheless his objective remains unclear.

Police received complaints from the public and business owners about this individual, reporting an intimidating and disturbing behaviour. He is usually wearing an orange high-visibility style sweater.

At this time, the Penticton RCMP is advising business owners and the public to be aware of his presence and to report any concerning or disruptive behaviour.

If this individual films you in a way that feels intrusive, disruptive, or concerning, please do not engage. Instead, document the incident when safe to do so and report it.
