An investigation into the residential arson that occurred on September 27, 2024 continues, with the Serious Crime Unit looking to identify several persons of interest.

See original release (September 28, 2024).

The investigation began when Prince George RCMP attended the scene of a house fire on the 2000-block of Quince Street. When investigators entered the home, a deceased person was located inside. The death has since been deemed suspicious.

“Police officers are now seeking to identify several people who may have information related to this investigation. We are asking that if anyone has information on who these people may be or where they are located, they call the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line to speak with an investigator,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Investigators are looking to identify one man and two women in connection with this investigation.
