Update: suspect identification in sexual assault investigation sought by police

Update: 

Our investigators want to thank everyone that contacted us regarding this media release. However, through the course of the investigation, we have determined that the individuals identified as suspects were not the ones we were looking for.

This investigation remains ongoing. Updates will be provided as they become available.

Investigators want to reiterate that this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no increased risk to the public.

Prince George RCMP continues to investigate a sexual assault that occurred near the end of October, reaching out to the public to help identify two potential suspects.

The incident took place on October 30, 2025, at a residence in Prince George. Through the investigation, police officers have obtained video surveillance images of the two suspects, who are believed to be associated with a small white car and a small black SUV-type vehicle.

“We are releasing these images to the public in the hopes that someone is able to identify these individuals and help us determine their whereabouts,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Police believe this to be an isolated incident with no further risk to the public.

Due to the nature of the investigation, police will not be providing any further information.
