On January 31, 2026, Prince George RCMP and the Prince George Firefighters faced-off in the fourth annual Sirens Cup Charity Hockey Game.

The firefighters team took home the trophy once again, beating out the police officers 6-3 in regulation time.

“While we are a little saddened to have lost the round this year, the real focus of the game is raising money for two great charities: Cops for Cancer Tour de North and the Prince George Firefighters Charitable Society. We are all very glad to be able to give back to the communities we serve in such a fun and positive way, while engaging in a friendly competition at the same time. We are happy to announce that we raised our largest amount to date, coming in at more than $16,500, to be split evenly between the two charities,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Once again, this event could not have happened without the incredible support of our community sponsors. A huge thank-you goes out to the Prince George Spruce Kings, P.G. Portable Toilets, Pattison Media, Flatline Irrigation, Canadian Tire, Alpine Pub and Grill, North Country Cannabis, Costless Liquor, Northern Capital Design and Renovation and the Westwood Pub.

See you at the 2027 Sirens Cup!
