Prince George RCMP has arrested one man in connection with an investigation that began on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
“We want to thank the witnesses who stepped forward to provide us with the information needed to make an arrest in this investigation,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
The man was released on an Undertaking with a future court date.
This investigation remains ongoing.
Background:
Shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026, police officers were made aware of an incident involving an ambulance that resulted in injuries to two paramedics.
Investigators determined that an object had been thrown at the window of a passing ambulance on the 600-block of First Avenue. A callout was made following the incident, requesting any witnesses or persons with available video surveillance/dash camera footage call the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line to speak with police.
