Prince George RCMP is asking the public to be on the lookout for a stolen quad that they suspect has been used to commit further offenses.
On June 12, 2026, Frontline police officers were notified of a theft of quad from a business on the 1500-block of Ogilvie Street. The theft occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m., when two suspects broke into a compound at that location. Once inside, the suspects took the quad from where it was stored and drove off with it. The stolen quad is described as a red 2021 Can-Am 450.
“Since the original theft, police have encountered a similar off-road vehicle twice being used in the commission of other crimes. Each time, the driver has fled from police at high rates of speed. We are asking the public to be on the lookout for a similar vehicle and to report the sightings to police using our non-emergency line,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for Prince George RCMP.
The quad has been seen between Fifteenth Avenue and Garvin Street all the way to Fifth Avenue and Tabour Boulevard, with additional sightings around the Ferry Avenue and Westwood Drive area.
When reporting a sighting, it is important to note details such as the time and location of the sighting, the last known direction of travel and a description of the driver, if possible.
This investigation remains ongoing.
